The Monash University Gryphons Cricket Club (MUGCC) is always looking for new male
and female players, of all standards.
You do not have to be a Monash Student to join our cricket club.
To join the club, is a five step process, these steps are described below.
STEP 1. CONTACT THE CLUB
Contact the following people, and let them know you are interested in joining the club:
STEP 2. TRAINING
Before you start playing some matches for the club, we would like to see you down at training.
We have professionally coaches for both male and female sides that can help you with every facet of your game.

STEP 3. PLAY CRICKET
After you have attended a few training sessions, you will be selected to join one of our 4 men's sides, or one of our 2
women's sides.
We play cricket on a mixture of Saturday and Sundays, in the 3 different competitions, so we are sure that we can
accomodate your cricketing needs.
STEP 4. PAPERWORK
During your first match for the club you will become a registered player for the Monash University Gryphons Cricket Club.
However to become a member of the club, you must first complete a membership form:

STEP 5. MEMBERSHIP
Each season, everyone who wishes to play for the Monash University Gryphons Cricket Club, needs to pay an annual fee to the club.
The membership costs can be summarised by the table below.

Payment can be made by Cheque, Cash, or Money Transfer.
Note: If Membership fees are received before 1st Nov, a $20 reduction will be given from the $210/$230 fees.
All financial members (except social) recieve a MUGCC playing shirt with the Gryphons and Sponsors logos.
New members will also recieve a Gryphons cap.
In addition to your annual payment, each week of cricket you are required to pay a match fee of $10 per day for men's
turf matches (currently men's 1
st, 2
nd XI and 3
rd XI), and $5 for all synthetic pitch
cricket (currently all women's cricket and men's 4
th XIs).
